
ORGANIC FARRO FLOUR 500g
Alce Nero flour is obtained by processing Italian soft wheat, spelt and rice and Canadian Kamut®. The soft wheat flour is available in three versions: type “0” (fine grind) is ideal for making bread, pizza, focaccias, piadinas, etc.; type “00” (ultra fine grind) is ideal for making biscuits, tarts, sweets and cakes; like type “0”, the whole-grain flour is ideal for "savoury" preparations, when you want to obtain a fibre-rich product. Spelt flour can be combined with soft wheat flour to make flavourful bread, focaccias, piadinas, etc.. Kamut® flour has a pleasing, delicately sweet flavour and is ideal for making bread, pizza and pasta. Finally, rice flour rises less than the other types and is ideal for preparing sweets. Mixing it with soft wheat flour will impart a very delicate flavour; or it can be used on its own to prepare short pastry.
